Files under Operating Systems
Hi I am currently running a business that builds and sells pcs, I want to know where to get operating systems for these computers. I want to go the legal way because I have many important clients to sell to.
Any information on how computer shops do this will help a lot, thanks!

the only one you gotta worry about is the most popular one, windows. all you gotta do is have a chit chat with them saying what you want to do and they will tell you what you gotta do (check somewhere on microsoft.com)
for linux, you just go to their website and download it for free. they actually would prefer if you only download it once and distribute it as it makes it easier on their servers (linux is free for the most part)

Well microsoft have many deals ready made for Dealers. Check your nearest microsoft selling point or contact them through their official website. Another way to get your operating systems some computers come with pre-installed OS , you should call your main supplier for more help.

PC shops can get Windows from a number of ways, but the easiest way is to buy the OEM CDs. Basically, they’re Windows CDs that come with the media and single PC license and nothing more. Yes, they’re legal and they’re designed specifically for PC builders (individuals and small companies). If you buy your parts from an IT distributor, the OEM CDs are pretty much the only kinds of copies they sell, but other places like Newegg also sell OEM discs.
