How do you start up a social networking website?

Author: Administrator | Files under Networking

I have a great idea for a new kind of social networking website but I don’t know what to do to get it started. What do I need to do?

One way is to use ning.com and use their platform. You can also do a search in google for "how to create a social networking site" or hire a programmer to make you a custom one.

    A social Networking Website eh?
Well you have to be up for the challenge of what faces you
1st, you need to pay to open a website, then pay extra for extra modules…login menus, granting permission, links, menus, extra features etc

you would rather have some other expert computerist to sort your website out…

if you arent familiar with the computer then hiring someone or getting some you know who is a computer geek ….

then you would need to sort out if joining your site would require cost or just free. Then you need to connect to MSN, hotmail, yahoo, ebuddy, Gmail, or any other mailing services (of course you would need to pay)

or you can make your own mailing regestry
so for example for facebook, if it wasnt connected with mailing services then the people would have to make a Facebook account like
    abc1234def@facebook.com or abc1234def-facebook.com

well these are some only of the Basics

Go to rentacoder.com to get someone to develop the site. But you had better figure out how you”re going to monetize the site. And ask yourself, "given all of the social networking sites, why would anyone want to join mine?" Get this figured out and you”ll be sipping martinis in Maui.
