Files under Operating Systems
So they have to design them using, say for example Auto CAD.
They need to program them and then they need to test them.
Do you have any examples of which operating systems games design companies would use?

Windows XP or Windows Vista are the most commonly used Operating Systems on the market.
Vista is probably better for gaming as it utilizes more RAM and DirectX10, but either one will work fine.
