I would like to know how important it is to keep your computer cool when you’re playing a computer game that has high demanding graphics. When I’m playing a game can it slow down a lot when my computer gets hot? I would like to know so when i buy my computer from alienware, i’ll make sure i pay a little extra to upgrade my cooling system.
I know alienware is expensive, but i hear good reviews about it, and people who buy alienware are almost always happy with it, so i don’t mind paying extra to know that I’m going to recieve a product that i’m going to be happy with. I’m not gonna buy from any discount computer retailers such as ibuypower.com because they have a lot of bad reviews showing that there computers sometimes aren’t assembled correctly. So i don’t mind paying extra for alienware, because i know i will be happy with it.
So how important is the cooling system in a computer when you’re playing a high graphics game?
If you’re buying the Area51, look at the Gateway P7811FX. MUCH more computer for the dollar. (I own one – I wish I could justify buying another one.)
If you’re buying a desktop, you can probably build a better one for less.
But, yes, if the GPU overheats, it’ll shut down, so cooling is important.
