fail to connect to a window service. windows couldn’t connect to the system event notification service service. this problem prevents limited user from logging on to the system. as an administrative user, you can review the system event log for details about why the service didn’t respond. how do you read it and how do you fix it.
go to administrative tools>services…scroll down the list of services and check to see that the System Event Notification service is not disabled, it’s startup type should be "automatic". If it is disabled double click on the service name, a properties window will open and you can change it’s startup type
