Carrington Build allows you to drag and drop Modules into a columnized page layout manager. Modules are unique to Carrington Build and allow for additional functionality to help build your custom page layouts. Don’t worry, Carrington Build also supports WordPress widgets and sidebars. You can drop them anywhere into a page.
Here’s a few examples.
The Loop module does precisely what the WordPress loop does, it returns a group of WordPress posts. For example, I can add a loop to my product showing all posts in the News category. I only want to show the latest 5.
The Callout module is a way to create nice content islands or callouts anywhere on your page. Say I decide the notice isn’t prominent enough. A stylized callout will draw visitors eyes and I can add a link for more information.
If I receive a really nice testimonial from a customer, I should add that to my marketing page. Here we insert a pullquote and give credit to John Doe. Now I have beautiful marketing material that is bound to bring in more customers.
