    i’ve done a “from scratch” system restore dozens of times and frankly, its pretty annoying. i’m tired of deleting all my files and having to start over. i got yet another virus on my computer, and im trying really hard not to start my computer off brand new again… =(

    umm i installed it …
    umm i installed it with a disk because my computer was like in a coma, but where do i get my key? shud it be somewhere on my moniter? sorry for the spelling lol

    @abkooblis Depends how you changed it to XP. If you formatted it then installed XP then no, but if you did something strange like dual OS then yes (don’t think you would have). If you’ve purchased a copy of Vista previously just ask around, use a friends disk and your own key, otherwise contact the manufacturer of your PC if it came with an OEM version and you should be able to get a restore disk.

    @abkooblis Check your mother board manual. Count the beeps, check what that many beeps says. If you don’t have the manual then online go to the manufacturer and find it there.

    i just fixed my …
    i just fixed my computer from a unmountable boot volume and it wont let me sign in in normal mode but it will in safe mode and i cant run internet in the safe mode should i push ctrl+ f11 and make factory brand new and can i get internet explorer back
