There seems to be a lot of confusion about what Linux is. I hope this helps you understand a bit better.
This is not a technical overview. It’s more of a “What is an operating system”. If you know what Linux is this video is NOT for you and was not made to teach you anything.

Is he pronouncing “Linux” correctly? Idk anything about this other than I just read that Linus Torvalds is the inventor, and I doubt he pronounces his name “lin-iss” rather than “ly-nis”. Whenever ive read the word “Linux” ive presumed it was pronounced “ly-nucks”. Of course, I dont know anything about this.

You can tell he doesn’t know about Linux, and computers in general. This guy makes my head hurt.

WINE is not an emulator. Also, most games run on linux now. WoW, Left4Dead, CallofDuty, check out winehq.com

He pronounces his name ‘lin-iss’, and Linux sort of like ‘lin-ooks’
